We have been working on this one for a while and I’m proud to announce that it’s ready. I started Zoopedup.com six years back and have been launching spin off services for the site ever since.
Now it’s time to introduce ZoopedTube, a video sharing site for the Zoopedup car club members to upload their car clips and share automotive media online.
The name obviously derives from the Zoopedup brand so just for the record there’s no inspiration from Jason Elk’s Zoopy video sharing service. (Just to be clear)
ZoopedTube will join CarBlog, Zoopedup forums and TeamZoopedup.com in my automotive network of sites. This is a very ‘tongue in cheek’ project and something i’m not to serious about. The content on the tube is strictly auto related so breath easy local video sharing sites. (;
The “HOW-TO” video created for ZoopedTube exclusively by the multi talented Paul Smart. You can find it here

Hey Charl,
Very cool concept this will tie in well with your car club. Im sure the members have lots of homegrown videos to upload
Good luck!
ps - The layout design looks great
Which software do you use to encode the avi or mpeg files into flash player format?
Well done, the site loads nice and fast.
Dear Newbie (;
The system uses ffmpeg to encode most file formats in the flash file format which a host of flash players can read..
Easier said than done.
Yay!! They love it.. they really love it!!!!
