Who sticks to their new year’s resolutions anyway? I know I don’t. But after reviewing the goals I set out to achieve in 2009 – Surprisingly, I didn’t do to badly. Here are the goals, those ‘striked’ out were obviously completed -
- Build a better Blueworld and Zoopedup with strong mobile plays
- Get back into Golf
- Video blog my thoughts on Tech
- Expand the Blog network and monetize better
- Spend less time online and more time outside
- Build an Adobe Air application
- Try new restaurants every other week with Jade
- Get to gym a few times a week
- Invest and save my money (I spend like crazy)
- Write more articles online and get them published
- Spend more time with my folks
- Buy a Macbook Pro and join the ‘other’ side
- Setup a daily work schedule and stick to it
- Attend more internet related events and conferences
- Travel overseas

Impressive bro, very impressive! I nailed quite a few on my list too, but could have done better.
Happy New Year, I hope 2010 rocks for you!
Thanks C! You had a huge ’09! Congrats again on the engagement.

Super stuff… paar van daai stuff is op my lys vir 2010.
Can I suggest you put what you did in brackets next to the scratched out achievements? eg. Build an Adobe Air application (Link)
Otherwise very well done. Spend more time outside was one of mine too.
Don’t blame you for not striking out No.5, you would not be able to achieve No.1 otherwise.
Who needs sunlight anyways?
@Afsana – Agreed! Rules of the game – you need to put the hours in.
When I buy my island I will lie on the beach d:
@Nick – We haven’t launched the desktop application yet.
I will give you a quick break down – you can tweet from it/retweet/see tweets, update your Facebook and interact with your friends status updates, read all your favourite 24.com news brands (news24, wheels24, fin24, etc) and add your own RSS feeds.
Its like Tweetdeck VS Google Reader VS News24
Should be live soon – I will post some screen shots shortly
We built it in FLEX – it was a great learning curve.
Time for another post about Charl’s world, ye?
