Just wrote a post about the new version of Yeigo due to be released sometime this week. Support local startups go get Yeigo! Read the article here.
With Yeigo 2.1 you can make WiFi calls to anywhere in the world, it’s like Skype on your phone but uses 90% less bandwidth (which makes it a chunk cheaper) and has a great deal less lag. To make calls to non Yeigo users you need to buy Yeigo credits just like Skype although its cheaper. You can call anyone anywhere in the world all you need is the credits – One of the Yeigo staff members called a friend in Dublin, Ireland for five minutes and cost him a measly $1.30. Now if your used to Telscum’s global call rates thats pretty impressive!

Myself and a few others have been interviewed in the latest ‘Your Business’ magazine. They did a feature on young online entrepreneurs and sent me a few questions to answer mainly about my startups and seeking advice for up and coming entrepreneurs.
Article below – Just waiting for my copy of the mag to be posted then I will scan in all the pages

I honestly didn’t see this coming, but Business 2.0 is to close after the October issue. I really enjoyed the mag and even subscribed to it at a stage
TechCrunch states…
There previously has been some rumors that Business 2.0 would be taken over by a new publisher, however it appears that Time has decided to kill the magazine (as the NY Times suggests) so as to not provide a ready made magazine and subscriber list to a competitor.
Check out TC’s brief write up about it here.

Some of the local internet heavy weights featured are Tyler Reed, Mike Stopforth, Vinny Lingham, David Duarte, Max Kaizen, M&G’s General Manager Matthew Buckland and off course Vincent Maher.
Together with the Thought Leader project M&G has also launched the popular blog aggregator Amatomu and blog hosting platform Amagama blowing any other news publication out the water with their impressive online strategy.
